I remember talking about Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers recently turning down my friends kid for an autograph in a fancy restaurant in Del Mar, California (he has a home in the area).

Now comes word that Barry Bonds was in a fancy restaurant (Dolce's) in Rancho Santa Fe -- a rich area outside of San Diego. Now, Bonds was never the best autograph signer, and he was always horrible with the media. But now with all the steroid scandals and him hoping to get into the Hall of Fame, perhaps he's gotten nicer.

The fans that approached were a bit rude (according to sources), and he was gracious and kind while agreeing to the photos.

I'd say...if you run into Bonds and want his autograph...tell him he should be in the Hall of Fame, ask nicely, and you'll probably get his signature.
