Baseball card set collectors: Beware of master forger, ebay seller lock-em-up-bob

This guy has been at it for years. He takes complete sets of baseball cards, usually 1980-1992 Topps, and will forge the entire set. Then he will list the forgeries individually preying on autograph set collectors. He will often auction off a 5-6 different cards of a Hall of Famer with the same picture of himself posing w/the player in each auction. Each forgery is signed perfectly on each card, many times with hard to come by inscriptions. One of bob's special's are dual/triple signed 'Team Leaders' cards. He claims he gets all the autographs he sells at spring training or hotels, which is a LIE!!! TPA's will not pass his forgeries from what I've seen. Do NOT bid on his crap! He works closely with another scammer, ebay seller samsobo. They both are part of a South Florida forgery ring!

This is NOT an authentic Ryne Sandberg

This Bo Diaz originated from Bob and recently flipped by another ebay seller for $300! Both the Maddux and Havens forgeries got $100 each.

He must be BFF's with Eddie Murray!

Nothing like pulling out all your old base cards, scribbling on them, and becoming a power seller on eBay! The eBay scammin' dream!

That Herzog is HILARIOUS.

More gems just added. I love how they read this forum too!

You think maybe every 5 or 6 autos they throw in a authentic one to throw off any suspicious collectors. ..?  I've seen that done... then when they need proof that's the one they randomly select. ..

Hi, I found one of Bob's autos a TPA (PSA/DNA) did pass: the dubious 1984 Billy Martin you posted above.  Looks like the same exact card to me (see link below to current eBay auction)

Here is a post I found where someone discusses how eBay seller lock-em-up-bob ripped them off:

Ryan, my bad. These are currently offered under ebay seller samsobo, who works directly with bob. I liked how the guy in that thread got ripped off by lock-em-up-bob and just let him get away with it. No fight at all.
