So, a friend was kind enough to send this Rockies autographed spring training ball to me, but every autograph is in sharpie. What's the best way to try to preserve these autographs?
(Never mind the messy stack of books. It's finals time.)

honestly, I don't know of any way to ensure that the sharpie doesn't bleed. It all depends on the specific ball. I have some sharpie signatures that look great after 20 years, and others that bled after a month. Keep them out of the sun so they don't fade, and you should probably keep them in some kind of temperature controlled room. (not the attic or basement)
Yeah, it is a ROMLB, and so far has not bleed. It was signed towards the end of Spring training. I am keeping it in our finished basement, because the temperature is oddly consistant at around 60, and we have a dehumidifier. Gotta love some NJ basements.
that's the thing you never know. I have a Phil Niekro ball signed in blue sharpie from the early 80's that looks the same, like he just signed it.
