Beware fake michael Jordan autograph John Lee Hawaii Self Storage

This guy John Lee is selling a pair of michael Jordan shoes he claims are game worn and signed.

Problem is the autographs are operation bullpen forgeries and the tagging on the shoes is retail aka they weren't worn by MJ. I normally wouldn't it this up since it's from a craigslist post but he has lied to me so many times I wanted to make it known.

He told me he contacted the original owner who guaranteed they are authentic. He then said he knows MJs masseuse who is going to get him to write a letter about them lol.
Then said they come with upper deck authentication. I asked where the stickers and COA were. He wouldn't answer. Then he said he confirmed with upper deck that they are real and that they have a letter on file.

I told him psa do a quick opinion service and that Mears authenticate game used items. Of course he then went on a tirade about how bad both of those services are lol.

John Lee told me to meet him at his work At 2009 Lauwiliwili St. Kapolei which is apparently called Hawaii self storage. He said he has the shoes there.

So beware of John Lee from Hawaii Self Storage Lauwiliwili St Kapolei

Hawaii Self Storage is a storage locker facility. I know some of those places have street-facing units that individuals use as storefronts. Being from Oahu, I don't trust any of the memorabilia posted on Craigslist. All the sellers claim the items are from friends or estate sales. We don't have THAT many estate sales that the items can all source from there.

Looking at the link you posted, I have three questions:

1) Why would Jordan gamers have retail coding on the tongue?
2) Do you also live in Hawaii, that you'd be searching Craigslist for memorabilia?
3) Have you contacted the FBI about the seller? Given what he's claiming the item to be, I'm pretty sure they'd be interested.

I have not contacted the FBI. There are dozens upon dozens of people who think they have and used items but when pointed out they realize what they have are simple retail items. This guy has had it pointed out but continues to lie and claim they are real. He is small fry the FBI won't care about one case of "mistaken" authenticity. MJ gamers don't have retail tagging

HPD (our county police) actually regularly raid/seize inventory of sellers of knock-off retail items, so I don't see why law enforcement wouldn't want to stop the sale of game used fakes. You should contact HPD or the FBI to help out. I'm sure there's a higher chance of stopping him that way than posting it on here.

It's not a knock off fake though it's just a fake autograph

Well, if he's claiming the shoes are game worn (they're retail shoes, so that's likely untrue) and signed (which you say they're forgeries), the FBI will care. Here's a link to a story on Operation Foul Ball, which was the game used equivalent to the autograph industry's Operation Bull Pen:
