Bill Cosby Fatherhood Book - Autograph printed or signed?

I've got a copy of the 1986 printing (1st printing) of Bill Cosby's "Fatherhood" book.  Opposite the table of contents is the page that I've attached.  As you can see, Bill Cosby's signature has been placed on that page.  I don't know whether this signature was printed on each copy or whether he actually signed this book.

I can see some bleeding as though a pen was used, but it looks too perfect to be an actual autograph.

Anyone know the answer?

Looks to be printed.

The shade of the ink of the signature and typing are exact so I would say printed.
