General question. How does one identify autopen? Is it because the pen pressure is the same for whole autograph? Thanks!

An autopen is a mechanical device which is used by some athletes/entertainers/politicians to sign fan mail. It replicates their signature.

John F. Kennedy was famous for using one after he became President.

Joe Montana also used one for almost all fan mail.

Neil Armstrong was another who used it for fan mail. That is the reason his authentic autograph is so valuable.

Many highly popular stars cannot possibly keep up with fan mail and therefore use this method for answering requests. All it takes is a person placing the item under the automatic pre-programmed pen. Every autograph from such a device will be exactly the same.

Looks like a pre-printed autograph and not an autopen to me but definitely not an authentic autograph.

Here's another. Please flag them. I've messaged both and they refuse to change the listing
