Bono & The Edge signed Vertigo 12 inch

I'd like some opinions on this album signed by Bono & The Edge.  Also, I have seen Bono signatures with that little thing he does under his name and was wondering if anyone knows what that means.

I've gotten Bono IP a few times and I do not like the look of the autograph in this picture :/ In my opinion this Bono is way way off. Btw the little thingy his signature is the year he signed it for example in this one I think it was 2008 :) Hope I was of some help!

I have gotten him myself twice and both were very different.  In fact, I think someone did a study on his signature once and there were like10 or so variations.  I was interested n this piece because of The Edge.

Both are forgeries.  The Bono squiggle is supposed to be a date, though I don't think the forger even understood that.  The Edge is a slightly better attempt than the Bono but still way off.

I assume this was supposedly signed around 2005.  Here's a fan-obtained Bono/Edge example from that time period.
