Once again, a customer walked into the store with some very cool items. Her question.....is this worth sending off for certification?

Sorry the pics are so poor, photo copies are all I have, and the team sheet was copied thru an old frame.

The 1951 team signed sheet is alternating in fountain ink (gone brown) and pencil, and the note card signed in ballpoint.

Robinson card is authentic IMO.

The team sheet appears to be mostly, if not completely "clubhouse signatures" IMO. Likely the work of Charlie Digiovanni, noted clubhouse man for the Dodgers who signed for missing players on team items and who quite often signed entire baseballs/team sheets. The alternating pen/pencil pattern would fit into his scheme to attempt to make the autographs look authentic.

Thank you Randy....it's bits of info like you supplied that make this site absolutely priceless.

I told her I liked the Jackie card as well, but couldn't comprehend anyone walking around to different players and telling them to sign in this pen or this pencil in perfect alternating pattern.

I couldn't in good conscience tell her to send that page off to PSA DNA without some advice from someone with real knowledge of the autographs of the team. The tail starting the R in Robinson's signature on the sheet and just bits seeming off just enough to raise questions beyond the pen/pencil/pen/pencil routine.

I really appreciate your time and your answer. Thanks!
