Hi all

I need an opinion on this autograph on sale on a Norwegian auction by a Norwegian that I`m suspicious are selling a lot of fake autographs. Is this real or a fake?  I am suspicious because it doesn't seem similar to other I've seen.

Forfalsket.... Fake...

Yes, that what I thought too. Never seen it look like that.

There`s so many fakes on the market in Norway.. It looks like those who collect buy purely if there is a COA... Not knowing that most of these coa`s are more a sign of a forgery than the opposite... Can`t understand that people dont do more research before they throw their money out of the window...

There`s a guy on Finn.no (marketplace) selling a bunch of forgeries (Mccartney,Madonna, Michael jackson etc). I sent him a mail teling him that all (those I had some knowledge about) were forgeries...bad forgeries.. (in case he didn`t know). I reported it to Finn as a possible fraud.. Nothing has been done yet. No reply from seller and the adverts are still there..

This is one of the items he`s selling. Mccartney, Ringo and Lennon.. $1785:

I`ve seen that too, and it doesn't look good at all, its a pity there are no knowledge about this in  Scandinavia at all. Seems we must rely on the Americans or Brits to get opinions about real or fake autographs.

True... And to do our own research.. That`s half of the fun though..

That`s right, I am still learning, and begins to get some knowledge about Bruce's autographs. I posted this one yesterday, but not got any opinions yet:

I think it`s probably good... Can I ask you what you had to pay for it?

Yes you can, I paid £1000 for it, was in Newcastle and got it from the seller on Sunday. I Have very good reason to be quite sure that its authentic. All autographs obtained by the seller himself in 1999 and 2000.

Yes it`s a really nice quality piece.. just a shame it`s not easy to frame so you can see all of them. (since it absolutely deserves to be displayed on the wall)..

Enjoy it and keep on collecting:)

I have to agree with you!! Doing research and homework is fun!!! :D

I agree that it is very nice to display the items you have. But I may take pictures of the pages with signatures and make a collage of them, and frame that. I don't know if i would want to display an original autograph for a long time in a light room anyways, wouldn't it fade some then?

Yes J Seah, its very nice and fun to do research, I will say that's half the fun in collecting. :)

By the way, Vidar Scheen!

How did you manage to get Elvis autograph on Moody Blue???

And the cover had LP4 sticker. Came out 3 weeks before he died....

And Rockin Days with Elvis autograph... with LP4 sticker...

Earlier it also had euronett-sticker, but after several of us pointed it out to qxl you removed it, and now there is only  a bad mark after it....  We are many who waits for your answer....

Unfortunately the administrator of qxl has removed the so called Moody Blue autograph...
