Nice photo, fake autograph though.

Unless Bruce wears that scarf all the time, I've seen that photo with other items before. Looks like an AACS "proof" photo.
Steve, I think we have discussed this forger (JSBS4) on AACS before in another Springsteen thread. He/she has over a long time sold lots of fakes with the big names and always uses the same proof-photos...

Stay away!!!

thanks all.    This person, JSB4 has many autographs of lesser known people on AACS.  I see he has Chad & Jeremy, Percy Sledge, Bobby Rydell.  You think he is really forging all these lesser known people?

Don´t know about these names. But I´m pretty sure that all the autographs by Springsteen, U2, Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden etc that JSBS4 has sold over the years is FAKE!!

And that alone is enough for me to completly stay away from this forger and his item, even if he also may sell some genuine ones...

Steve

That is the new scam these people are doing is forging the lesser known celebrities because people are not so critical when looking at them.  They buy LP's for $.99 and sign them and sell them for $19.99 and make it up in bulk.  I see it all the time now.

Roger - I get that and I don't trust the bigger names.  But this particular seller on AACS has autographs from folks like Dion, Paul Anka, Bobby Rydell that look spot on from ones I got in person.  Can he be that talented?  Also Gary Puckett and Chuck Negron were recently on tour and he some stuff from them as well and they also look good.  If he is forging these lesser artists, why wouldn't he include the other members of 3 Dog Night on the Chuck album?  it is all very confusing to me.  I almost want to gove up doing this.   Is anything AACS sell real?

AACS is a great place to pick up some bargains if you know the signature. Most items I see on there are fake and bad fakes that go for big money each week in the auctions. However, there are a few that are genuine and if you know the signature you can pick up some good items.

Yes  think you are right.  I see obvious fakes.  The current Sally Field ones are so bad, they are laughable, but then I see Dion, Paul Anka, (all by JSB4 BTW),  where I know the signature and these seem good to me.  Why does this seller combine good and bad items?  It is a shame a company has to operate this way.  They should be taken to task.

I agree Steve, they seem to sell anything good or bad. I picked up a decent Stan Lee that went on to pass PSA and a Dick Van Dyke amongst quite a few others. I think some of the lesser ones are genuine as why would they forge some autographs as they only sell for a few dollars.

Hi Dan.  Do you know if either of those autographs came from JSB4?  I know he had some Stan Lee's on there for a while.  This seller really baffles me.  I know what Roger is saying, yet I have gotten Paul Anka, Cyndi Lauper and Gary Puckett all this year and the ones he has on AACS look spot on to mine.  Also his Dions.  Can he be that good at forging all these signatures?  There are some sellers on AACS who always have bad items for sale, one called whitelightening for example.  It is a strange way to do business for sure!
