G'day from New Zealand :)
Chimene "Chemmy" Mary Alcott is the awesome, British, alpine ski racer who competes in no less than 5 disciplines: downhill, super G, giant slalom, slalom, and combined.
Chemmy began skiing when she was 18-months old and by the age of 11 she was already competing and making her mark in world, junior events.
At age 17 she won her first medals (one bronze and one silver) at the European Youth Olympics and, from there, she has gone on to have a truly stellar career.
CHEMMY HAS NO LESS THAN - WAIT FOR IT - FORTY TWO (42 !!) GOLD MEDALS IN HER CABINET AS WELL AS A WHOLE HOST OF OTHER MEDALS, ACCOLADES & AWARDS.
Chemmy has represented GB in three Winter Olympic Games and six World Championships.
Chemmy has just returned to the UK after an extended training stint here in Central Otago which saw her gracing the slopes and streets around Arrowtown, Wanaka and Queenstown :)
Okay - you've guessed it .... being the nuisance that I am I got this ever gracious lady to sign 3 photos for me and here they are with the autographs as of 21st November 2013.
TRIVIA ... Chemmy is named after Sophia Loren's character in the 1961 blockbuster movie "El Cid" ... Dona Chimena ... so we are now talking about TWO beautiful and gracious women :)

Such a shame she had so many bad injuries as she could have been an Olympic champion, who knows maybe in Sochi she still can
