Companies that insure autograph and memorabilia collections

Hi folks,

The insurance policy on my autograph and memorabilia collection is due for renewal in February.  I use Travelers now, based on a recommendation for a dealer that I work with, but I'd like to shop around to see if I can find comparable coverage that is less expensive.

Can anyone recommend a company based on your experience?

Thanks!

I was told by my insurance company (Erie) that if i had an inventory of my collection along with pictures/videos that it would be covered under my regular homeowner's insurance policy.  You should give yours a call and see what they say.

Thanks Steel.  I checked with them, and they won't cover my collection.

I had heard Chubb insurance is good. May want to check with them.

Chubb is good. Basically you provide a list of every item in your collection with a dollar value associated with each item and the premium is based on the cumulative value.

I used to have a policy with them before I started started selling off my collection. The premium was very reasonable. However, I never had a loss so cannot confirm how well they actually pay off when a loss occurs.
