A few quick Hollywood autograph things that popped into my mind – Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) is in the new movie Identity Thief. He plays a guy in a bar that gets drunk and sleeps with the crazy woman. Well, in the movie (I saw it earlier tonight), they end up showing his butt. On David Letterman right now, he said he didn’t give that much consideration and now it’s going to be out there for everyone to see, and he’s going to have to start signing pictures of his butt.

That reminded me of another movie still out in theatres – Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (for those of you that didn’t get enough with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter). In one scene, a boy that’s a fan of theirs shows up in a pub they’re at. He approaches Jeremy Renner (Hansel) with a book of the various clippings about them from the newspaper. He asks them both to autograph it. Gretel is thrilled by the boys enthusiasm. Renner is more upset by the intrusion when he just wants to enjoy a few drinks (soooo….even back hundreds of years ago, stars got bothered by autograph seekers).

One other thing tonight I heard about autographs. The LA radio station KFI AM 640, was playing back an interview Katie Couric did with Charlie Sheen. Tim Conway, Jr. (a great host), was making fun of the various clips. In one of them, Katie mentions that fans like him because he has a good heart. And as Sheen answers and agrees with her, he mentions that he’s never turned down an autograph request.

So…if you see Sheen out there, have your Sharpie ready!
