Opinions on authenticity welcomed, please.

Bat is "guaranteed authentic" from owner. Story is that bat came from Spring Training camp in the late 80s. Bat is broken with dead wood on the back not affecting signature.

Formal, long-form signature looks good, but hoping for some expert insight as well. Thanks for stopping by!

pretty cool piece if legit.  I haven't studied Darryl's signature enough to determine it's authenticity.  Best I can do is share my 2 autographs of his that i know are legit.  One (book page) I got in person at a book signing of his book "Darryl!" in 1986..   Other one is on a ball purchased directly from Steiner (more current signing).  hope it helps...
