Just had an email from Bookshop.org to state that signed edition of book will be despatched at the weekend.

Just got mine from Bookshop.org and would like to check with others who've opened it. It's sealed in shrinkwrap and I don't want to open it if I have to return it, as the accompanying shipping label doesn't mention it's a signed edition even though the original email confirmation said it was. Could anyone confirm that the shipping label is incomplete and it is actually signed?

I assume this edition is signed within rather than on a bookplate as this would have been separate (the original blurb doesn't mention a bookplate).

I think that’s the exception rather than the rule, I’d expect this to be stuck in

Just opened my book from Bookshop.org and there is a signed book plate stuck on the inside cover.

The packing note did not state "signed".

Reply to Fanelliyoung (not sure why it didn’t work the first time): You got me worried now. The email definitely shows the Signed edition. I opted to use a forwarding service (firs time doing that). So hopefully it’s fine. There is no way to return it I don’t think if it comes and it is not signed.

had the same thoughts and opened it yes signed inside.. also never mentioned signed on paperwork enclosed bit strange but all good .I contacted them for clarification very fast to reply.
