Can anyone name this British Blues Artist's autograph?

O.K strange one here. I met who I thought was John Mayall; white hair, white beard on a plane journey between Ireland and London in the early Nineties (92 -95) . I definitely recognised him as a blues musician. So much so that I got him to sign a piece of paper for me, but it does not look like John Mayall! He signed what looks like 'Johnny Mars' - but it's not the famous harmonica player. This guy was looked like John Mayall! Any blues experts out there that might be able to shed some light on this? Much appreciated.

Hi Micko,

Just found this whilst on the look-out for something else.  Not sure if you ever got to the bottom of this mystery, but in case you haven't then I believe your image shown above IS the autograph of Johnny Mars the American Blues harpist.  To back up this claim here is a picture of my Johnny Mars (the American Blues harpists) autograph:

As you can see there are many similarities (even down to the double-hashed underlining).  I really do believe this autograph matches yours very well indeed.  But if this is the same then it obviously begs the question of who was the white haired English man?!?

Wow. This is really mind blowing. Now perhaps I just remembered this all wrong, cause that sure looks like the autograph I have. Maybe I just got people mixed up. The mystery turns out to be why did I think that a white blues artist signed this in the first place? Weird. Maybe I have a John Mayall autograph somewhere else?
Thanks so much Nate. I think you've solved it for me. It is johnny Mars after all!
