Does this Axle Rose autograph look authentic? Thanks!

I have never an Axl this messy before. Especially the e in rose. It's almost non existent. I also don't like how the lines in the E connect.

This also is from "Team Derek" which has been found to be questionable. I would either ask for Roger Epperson's opinion($15 fee) or avoid it.

I agree with Kevin,

I am fairly familiar with Axl, and this would be one to get checked out by Roger or run by PSA quick opinion. I personally would pass. I have seen some messy Axl's before, but as Kevin mentioned, rarely have i seen anything that looked like the ending of the "rose". Another thing (that may not mean much in this case, but still needs mentioning), is that when in a rush nowadays, Axl will just sign his first name. If this is just a sloppy sig, then its likely he was in a hurry when he signed it, and if he was in a hurry, its likely he would have just signed Axl. This style of his autograph, is a later/more modern version, so its likely his signing habbit of signing Axl when in a hurry would apply here. I also dont like the formation of Axl as well. If this is a forgery it certainly isnt the worst out there, and would fool alot of people, and its one that i would get checked out by a pro before purchasing.

Based on what i see when i look at the autograph, and the fact that Team Derek, as mentioned by Kevin, has been called into question on numerous occasions here on the boards, i would pass. There are just far better examples out there to be had if patient.

Hi Jake,
I'm afraid I agree with Kevin and Carl. This is not authentic, IMO. I've gotten Axl a few times in person and while his sig can be sloppy, I've never seen one that looks like this. It's missing the "x" in Axl and the "e" in Rose is off as well. I guess it's possible it's real, but I'd stay clear. Ask Roger to be sure.
