has anyone ever had any experience with an ebay seller who claims to be able to get an autograph from a rock legend because they belong to the same clubhouse?  seller has a pic of himself with the rock star but I am skeptical.  if he is "friendly" with said person, why would he chose to make money on him?  Any thoughts?

If you post the image we can give opinions. Sellers claim many things from belonging to the same club, knowing a friend or family member and anything to dupe others.

well the image is just that of a regular album and cd, nothing on it yet.  he claims he will have it signed upon payment because he belongs to the same clubhouse as this rock star.  he seems very anxious for payment.  he did send me a picture of him with the rock star, IF that is even him??? who knows.

never pay for something till you see it, its the oldest con trick in the book

thanks Mark, I had never seen this type of option for buying an autograph and I guess it got my hopes up, but you're right, sounds like a scam

Sorry but unless you know him personally I would avoid like the plague. You have no comeback if he signs it himself. It's possible he is telling the truth but get him to sign then if it's real make payment

Agreed. Protect yourself!

thanks, I appreciate  your input

I agree, just seems too good to be true.
