Ed Sullivan Program and Autograph Identification help

Hello

I recently picked up this Toast of the town program.  It appears to be signed by Ed Sullivan on the inside and an unkown actor/actress on the cover.  Also the cover is hand dated Wed Nov 2 1955.  I have a few questions.

How does the Ed Sullivan autograph look?

Was Nov 2 1955 a taping of his sow?  I know his shows aired on Sunday nights.  Not sure if they taped at that time...

Who's autograph is on the cover?

 Anyone know if they taped the shows ahead of time?   since the pamphlet is dated on Wed Nov 2nd 1955, and the shows were on sunday nights?
