Sent one album cover to a recent show of his and received it back yesterday. Would be great to get some feedback on this piece. Many thanks!

It looks pretty good to me.  The love and Elton match up almost to what I got in person.  What do you mean you sent it to a show?  You mailed it to the arena?  I saw Elton recently at MSG and he signs for the first row of seats after each show.

Thanks Steve, Yes I meant that I mailed it to the venue.

Genuine

Many thanks Dan!

Lovely item

Thanks Greig!

Hi Mattias,

Nice item. Yes Elton does sign TTM via venue. But the amount of fan mail he signs per venue is very small. I dont know how him or his handlers pick out the ones he wants to sign (random or read and pick the best ones), but he does sign some TTM at most all venues in my experience. I imagine its probably random picking, but who knows. I received several from Elton years back when i sent to a few venues he was playing. He signed 3 different 4 by 6's for me, and wrote a small note on the back of one. That was back when i collected TTM alot, which i really dont collect much at all anymore.

In my experience, most musicians will sign TTM, even the ones that are the hardest. There are some who dont period, but it never hurts to try. I was able to collect Rush and Clapton TTM, all within the last 3 years. I have scans posted of each in old threads, that everyone agreed was real. In the case of the Clapton, it took many tries, and it was bitter sweet. At that stage in my collecting, i didnt care what they signed, or quality. So to save money, i printed photos at home on my printer, and had no idea how to adjust the resolution. So i ended up with alot of great autos on home printed photos of horrible quality. Such was the case with the Clapton. A horrible quality print out photo, with a beautiful black sharpie sig. His secreatary sent me a note along with it thanking me and telling me Eric appreciated the letter.  I tried Ringo and Paul Mc and Bob Dylan many times, but no luck on them. But i didnt try them as many times as Clapton and i dont collect much anymore. Would they have ever signed, prob not, but you just never know. The letter is the key to some, to write from the heart, and tell them what they have meant to you. And if that letter gets in the hands of the right person, it may just get passed on to the artist.

And that may have been what happened to yours. Great item, and on a quality item, unlike some of mine, lol. Congrats

Hi Carl

First of all thank you! I have heard of some authentic TTM successes from Elton John, but just a few. But I decided to give it a shot anyway. Funny it was mailed back my homecountry Sweden. This is the first year I have collected TTM and I have received some cool autographed items from Rush, Patti Smith, Abba, Iron Maiden, Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, Deep Purple and now Elton for example. I tried to send to BB King when he performed at the BB Kings in NYC recently, but heard that the manager refused to accept it, so they have sent my item back I was told.
