Hey guys,

I'm interested in a Emma Hewitt autograph photo.  There is a seller that has multiple 8x10s signed.  Their exact proof is a photo of her signing multiple photos but if you look at the proof, the photo she signing the seller is selling a reprint of but not the original.  There is another photo of her signing a different 8x10 but in the proof she is personalizing it but in the actual item they are selling it is not personalized.

If you guys could tell me if these are real autographs, that would be awesome.

Thank you!

The personalization may have been removed (not an uncommon practice among autograph collectors).

I don't know Emma specifically, but I see that two Canadian IP collectors (Overtime, who I'm somewhat familiar with, and the one who you posted, who I'm not) are selling her. My impression is that you'd be fine going with either one.

Just a couple of general notes, as someone who's interested on artists on the rise and goes to a decent number of club-level shows. Artists at this level are 1) somewhat easy to obtain and 2) not commonly forged. While there are always certainly dirtbags in the fold forging things to make a buck, indie artists are not nearly as big a target as long-time, established acts and genuine heavyweights in the business. That being said, I've followed some bands who attract generally younger audiences and, despite millions of fans and tons of success, you would actually be hard pressed to find forgeries on Ebay - sort of the reverse of the trend you more commonly heard about.
