The b/w photo is real. This is what he used to send out TTM. It matches some of my in person signatures.

The colour one is a little dubious.. It might be a fast in person, but I have never seen him signed the E of Ewan in three parts.

Best wishes.
Thanks Richard! Good to know...one outta two isn't too bad, even though they both look similar to me! ;)
You are welcome. Gain some more opinions. The other may be fine, just feels weird to me on the E..
The seller tells me they're both from the 90s, so the other ones prob legit as well, back when he didn't mind signing!
Also got this one at the same time...another TTM but from Ian McKellan...I'm pretty sure it's legit as well, but I've never seen a personalization from him like that before!?! Is that rare?

Unfortunately both Ewans are secretarial, signed TTM by either his mom or his wife. Debate rages on as to which relative signed which secretarial style.

The Ian is 100% real, and he does tend to inscribe everything he signs TTM, on occasion adding some reference to the photo.

So, I in fact DO have two signed McGregor's, just not by the right one! haha

Good to know about the McKellan tho, thanks Pete!

Just curious about the Ewan secretarials, how did someone eventually figure that out?

Did either of them at some point come out and say they were the ones who signed them?

Thanks!

One type consistently kept coming back from his home, and another from his agency. They continued to come back TTM even while he was out of the country filming for months at a time. In-person graphers would ask him about some pieces and he would comment on how his family would help him sign fan mail especially after his casting in Star Wars.

Both styles are very much like his signature, but off just enough ....especially when they are all dead matches to each other and his signature is different just about every time.

The above are his in-person during SW filming.

Below are his modern in-person signature

Whoa! That's an amazing tutorial Pete! On behalf of all of us, THANK YOU!!!

So, I'm thinking that this one looks better?
