David Seville, aka Ross Bagdasarian, Senior (1919-1972) was a musician and actor, and the originator of Alvin and the Chipmunks.  I've recently seen several autographed Chipmunks LPS offered on eBay.

Two of them appear to be authentic compared with samples I've seen of Bagdasarian's signature, both under his own name and "David Seville."  But that third one?  Oh, brother.  It's on a Mistletoe Records reissue of a Chipmunk Christmas album manufactured maybe ten years after Ross Bagdasarian's death!
