Dan, well done in pursuing this

It was covered in a previous posting here and you know the name of the originator of all these forgeries!!!!

Even one of the sellers on ebay UK lists the name of the in person collector he uses !

He swears by his items and they are so bad..................

I tell u how he does it !

He gets one item signed and gets photo proof and duplicates the original signed item and sells sells sells !

A lot of dealers collectors in UK know about im and have nothing to do with him

Does anyone know of any actual legit music collectors who get sheet music signed?  Every time I see signed sheet music on Ebay, I know I don't even have to click on it to conclude it's fake.

Hi Rich,

I have gotten sheet music signed on about a dozen occassions. But these signatures were obtained through the mail. And they all were authentic to the best of my knowledge. However this probably isnt the type of sheet music you are referring too. The sheet music i sometimes send out is typically from the back of guitar world magazines (guitar tab section). Although i have on occasion cut out the front page of  a guitar tab section i was interested in, in an official book (similar to the examples on the previous page) to send in. I have gotten Brad Paisley, Dave Mustaine, Avenged Sevenfold, Heart, Seether and a few others this way. 

As far as like an actual sheet music pamphlet though, i rarely have seen something like that signed either.

Carl, I guess that makes sense.  I probably meant to say in-person collectors.  Hard for me to imagine collectors running around with sheet music (like the images posted above) when they can get photos or LP's signed.

Bod Geldof

I always bought good quality pictures on the front of the sheet music, and never on the music pages

This lark of selling signed sheet music is pretty bad and happens a lot in the UK, sellers are faking this big time in the Midlands of the UK

Yeah, the fake sheet music I usually see offered looks to be of the uber-cheap, photocopy variety.  Probably a good way to ensure they don't spend a dime more than they have to when ripping people off.

And this seller keeps ticking.  I'm sure the whole lot is bad, but these items stood out as being awful.
