I just bought a poster on eBay that the seller claims he was given at the world premiere of the Fast & Furious 6 screening on May 7th in the UK. It is "signed" by virtually the entire cast and has holographic stickers indicating authenticity. I have looked online and believe I have been sold a forgery.

If it is him, the problem is that there is NO information on google about that email address.  If you try and look for information on him, nothing comes up.  Now if he uses that email account and someone searches for it, this thread will come up.

Well done sir!
He's very good. Almost had me. It's working all over eBay as we speak.
I really hope this, individual/organization gets what's coming to them.

The funny part is that, since he didn't ask for the poster back, I'm going to leave it in the frame and put it on my wall.  Will make for a funny story for guests who visit.

At least the guy gave me my money back and didn't try and fight paypal over the authenticity.  That's the silver lining... for me anyway.  There are tons of other people displaying these with pride who have been ripped off.

I'm very happy it worked out well for you!
Hopefully this helps someone else...

Yeahp, Ryan has been really active in exposing these poster forgeries and the guys who sell them

awesome! cheers for RYAN! my buddy bought a Dark Knight rises signed memorabilia item which i looked over and none of the signatures match of course! I was the middle man because he didn't have a paypal or ebay account so i have the emails from both parties. If anything comes up from this scheme im gonna be contacting that guy soon. i wonder if its the same guy or many. the guy he bought it from had many many autograph premiere items from TDKR premiere. Such a horrible scheme! it needs to be shut down! im willing to help do whatever!

I've kept the entire dialogue chain. Happy to post or provide it at the right time.

He operates under a " Wayne Diamond ", brutnaced@gmail.com ,  eBay ID: filmpremieres , although it appears "he" has several operating identities, selling simultaneously, all over world.

As soon as his feedback numbers get high, identity names switch, and they start again. All his feedbacks are 100%, which means people are "thrilled" and believe their authenticity.  His paypal address is listed in MA, although listings suggest posters ship from Los Angeles, CA.

I won't buy or even consider buying multiple signed movie or band posters online (I bought one band signed poster from the actual concert so I know it's genuine), there are just too many fakes and I have been burned in the past.
