Favourite Krieger and Densmore Autos

Hello folks. I hope this finds you all well. Yes I am bored! Anyway, I have a few autos for Krieger, Densmore, and Manzarek. I have to say that my favourite Densmore and Krieger are as attached. There are quite a few guitar scratchboards and drum heads signed either by all three, or cross purpose signatures of for example, a Densmore on a guitar board, or a Krieger on a drum head. I waited out until I got a Densmore on a drum head, and a Krieger on a guitar board, per their respective occupations. In a fantasy world, I would have an organ key signed by Manzarek, and a microphone signed by Morrison!. Maybe even a delivery coffee cup signed by Danny Sugarman!!. What a wall mount that would make!. Alas, never to happen. I know that recordmecca were selling Doors used microphones. These were fetching $3K plus. I wrote to Jeff Gold and he was convinced that the Vince Treanour sourced mics were likely used at some point by the main man. I wish now that I had purchased one. Anyway, this is a boredom post!

Thanks for sharing Rich. Cool. That is unique in terms of participators and their signatures. All in. Usually you see all four with either just 1/2/3 signs. It’s cool to have three on three

I was privileged to meet them a few times on the Doors of the 21st Century and Riders on the Storm tours.

Be glad you didn't buy the mic. Proving it would be hard, and some day, it wouldn't be worth what you paid. Just like the person that bought the amp cover thing that Manzarek sold, saying Morrison sat his ass on it. Not worth the thousands.

I met them many times. Krieger on a guitar I love. But, having the Butts Band albums signed by them both was perfect. And...I love that my Other Voices and Full Circle are signed by the 3 Doors, as well as bassist Jerry Scheff !!!
