At the end of the day it's dishonest - you don't have the item and they aren't your pictures
To me it's ethically and morally wrong
I think most retail stores and big outlets do the same in every kind of store. They all use stock photos and then buy from a warehouse after you have out your order in.
I see a photo of a TV from any online store and they are all using the same photo. No matter what "store" I order it from they then go and order it from someone else. Sometimes then that person orders it from someone else again haha
I was kind of trying to be a smart ass to the "ethically and morally wrong" comment.
