This is nothing like an authentic Carl Yastrzemski, yet it is certed by  Global Authentics.(the sticker says GA, while the listing says GAI which proves my point. They are considered one and the same)

if you do a GAI search under autographed baseball items on ebay, about 3,000 items come up. you can then go thru them and while some are correct, a very high number, especially the ones that are most frequently forged, are bad.

what is comical is that some sellers have a lot of PSA or JSA items, and a few GA/GAI.  It makes me think that maybe it failed the first submittals, and the GA/GAI thing was their back up.

T8H - that does look ugly.  Was just looking at one on my wall and I'd be hard pressed to purchase this one.  Aside from the policy violation that they don't have the actual COA depicted is another matter even though the GA sticker GV681087 is at least depicted.  Then we could see which one it is.  I've seen a number of times when GA & GAI are being intertwined.    Although if GA is incorporated it would become a GA Inc... or GAI lol!

they do at least spell out the "guarantee" but in looking at their returns I wonder how a "straight return" is quantified that results in a 15% restocking fee.

Our Guarantee is simple: If any item we sell is ever found to be of doubtful authenticity, we will issue an immediate and no-questions-asked refund. Thankfully, in our 12-year history as an online memorabilia retailer, we have never had an item returned for authenticity. The excellent reputation of each supplier we do business with is the reason we stand behind every item we sell. Since we opened our hand-signed memorabilia division in 1996, we've built relationships with the most reputable memorabilia companies in the business.
