Here's My Cheever auto from a sit-down at a Toronto Autograph Show. Got Gordie Howe the same show. He was oh so nice.

Ima still a big fan of the older players when hockey was a much better and more exciting game than today's girly men haha

The one I posted looks OK (but not 100% sure), and I know he's a generous signer still. Your example is really nice with more definition. Mine is either authentic or a common forgery. I don't really know

Mine was signed in 2002.  That was a great show...lots of signers.  Mr. Hockey tapped me on the shoulder at the show (I was wearing a Patrick Roy jersey) and Gordie said he bet he could still score on Roy.  What a cool guy he was.
