Last year a buddy of mine got me 3 Ford autographs (in person) in July of 2013. Ford was walking, it was dark and ultimately, this is what I got. I believe my friend 100% when he says that Ford signed these, but now a few nastys on the facebook boards are saying otherwise. Cant sigs change a little?

Sorry bud, those were 100% not signed by the actor Harrison Ford. Maybe the guy who owns the car dealership Harrison FORD, but certainly not the actor.

Have to agree with Pete, these are not signed by the film star Harrison Ford

I'm sorry guys. My friend wouldn't lie to me. Just doesn't make sense. Ford signed as he was walking.

Lorne, your faith in your friend is admirable, but in this case it is misplaced.

I am certainly not going to try and make you believe anything, but I can provide about 1000 samples of Harrison Ford autographs signed in the last 35+ years. Sitting Harrison, Standing Harrison, Happy Harrison, Angry Harrison, Walking Harrison, Crowded Harrison, Drunk Harrison, you name it.

Nearly 200 of those reside in my private collection.

Yes signatures can change over time, and Harrison's has gone thru numerous changes in the decades that he has been famous. He has just never signed like that... ever.

These are just far too different to have even a chance to be authentic. Maybe your friend thought he was doing you a favor by telling you they were. They are not signed by Ford.

That's almost like $40000 dollars worth. Wow. Nice job.

Are you replying to the right thread Robin? Still as fake as the last time I saw them, and even if real, 1k in total max... Hope you've brought them along to PSA/JSA before as they would rightly be rejected. This situation is very much like say your Mum saying she got The Rolling Stones back stage at a concert. You'd 100% believe her, but unfortunately if you dug a little deeper she actually handed them in to the manager, who signed them himself. It happened a lot...

I was complimenting Pete's collection of Fords.

Ah ok.. My bad... Then way, way, way, way over 4K IMHO :)

Well consider, just for argument's sake, a Ford could go for £400+, then that should be about $40000 and deserved IMHO for obvious years of dedication and spirit.

Sorry Lorne, but those are not the signatures of Harrison Ford.

Lorne, this site is for opinions on autographs. The opinions are based on collectors, dealers and authenticators and many years of knowledge of various signatures.

We often here my friend / family member got this signed and more often than not the items as in this case is not real.

Why your friend told you this I do not know but these are not real
