Hey guys,

What do you think about this Heath Ledger item (see attached photo)? The seller says he purchased it from Behind the Scenes, a RACC trusted seller (see:  https://raccdaily.com/racc-trusted-sellers-list-34b33fea74aa#.r06p5...). It looks like some authentic examples I've seen, but I'd like to have more educated opinions before doing anything.

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

Bump for opinions. Anyone, please?

Here is my Heath Ledger that I had before. Obtained in person. JSA Certified.

Thanks J! It looks a lot like the one I posted, would you say? What would be your verdict?

Bump for opinions.

I am not a facebook guy, so the whole RACC thing is out of my realm. I think every autograph collector has their own "trusted sellers." Following someone else's list can be scary.

The Heath you posted is looking fine in my opinion. I don't know the seller or where it came from....sometimes that is best......let the graph speak for itself.

I have my trusted sellers, but not on raac facebook ,some of those guys need a head examination on their prices one person is asking 2000 for a signed standard Pearl jam poster.

They should call it ebay's trusted sellers list.

True. One of the perks of RACC would be getting "RACC prices" for good items, but at least half of these guys shamelessly overprice all their items.

They all trade on ebay so there's no deals to be had.

I believe in pricing everything accordingly. You will never ever see me tell someone that their price is too high.....if the item is a true rarity that can't be obtained elsewhere. Then it is fair game, whatever the seller is willing to take for it or where ever they are willing to price it, but there needs to be a reason. I have been known to pay way too much for an item.....if it is the right item, and I am happy to do it.....couldn't get it elsewhere.

If they are truly overpricing "standard" or modern items.....then maybe they shouldn't be on a "trusted list" unless they are specifying their authenticity record.

Fair point. I think its no different from eBay; some of them do seem to overprice, others don't.

I noticed that some of these trusted sellers have inventory that they haven't had signed in person themselves and low and behold you see them disagreeing on the authenticity of the piece.

So you really do need to doubles check things out.
