Recently purchased this signed book, was wondering what you guys think and whether the signature is printed or actually signed. There are very light impressions on the paper, but could that be due to the age as well as type of pen used to sign this?

Does anyone know if the book (Mack's Book of Baseball) came with preprinted signatures? I googled it and did not see any, and saw another copy signed with an autograph in a different place on the same page.

hard to say Mike.  I almost bought a Mack signed contract a couple years ago.  Wish I would have gone that extra 10 bucks.

It's from the seller of that 16x20 Mantle that sold for much more than we were both willing to go haha. It took me a while, but after looking at other examples, I felt pretty comfortable with this. I got it today and it seems ok, just VERY light impressions in the paper.

Unfortunately, I believe it's a facsimile...

Thanks a lot guys, time to get that refund.

Use a magnifying glass and study the signature.  You should be able to see press marks where the signature begins and through out the signature.
