Hi there.  I'm not a novice to the field of autograph collecting, however, my primary areas of collecting interest are Minnesota athletes and astronaut autographs.  Outside of that, I don't pay a lot of attention, especially to Hollywood autographs.  However, some people in my family received the attached photos purportedly autographed from three different Hollywood celebrities.

The first is a Jennifer Lawrence "Hunger Games" photo.  It looks very wrong on many levels to me, but I'm hoping for the opinion of others with more knowledge in this area.  The formation of the "J" is troubling, but the "L" looks especially off to me.  It also looks like it was signed by a right-handed individual, and Jennifer is left-handed.  On top of that, it looks like the photo was printed on an ink jet photo printer, which seems rather "cheapy."

The second is a Chris Pratt photo.  My concerns with this are the "P" in Pratt seems too skinny, and it ends on a down stroke, where the legitimate examples I could find online end with the "P" on an up stroke.  The line at the end also swoops downward, whereas roughly 90% of the examples I could find online, the line swoops upward.  The last name is also less complete than a lot of examples I've seen online.  This photo also appears to be an ink jet printed item.

Both of these two items came with a COA from Encore Autographs, Inc. from Millersville, PA.  Let me stress that I generally place absolutely no credence in a COA.  I state this only to give background on their origins.  I wasn't personally familiar with this dealer before these items came into our possession.

The last two autographed items are of Andy Garcia.  Honestly, I have no clue about these items.  Again, just for background, the first one came with a COA from a Sport Memory out of Las Vegas, NV.  I wasn't familiar with this dealer, either.  The second didn't have a COA.  The first photo is a matte finish higher quality photo.  The second appears to be ink jet printed.

If anyone out there can please offer an opinion on any of these items, I would very much appreciate it.  They didn't cost us anything, as they were gifts, but I do frame a lot of my autograph collection and hang it up in my house.  I don't want to go to the effort and cost of framing any forgeries, however, so your assistance weeding out any bad apples would be awesome.

Thanks!

I think you just saved yourself some framing money. The Jennifer Lawrence and both Andy Garcia pieces are straight out forgeries.

The Chris Pratt has a fraction of a percent of a chance ....just because he has changed up his signing style repeatedly for the last couple of years. I have not seen anything like this one, but the outside chance remains. It is not something that I would consider real, and it is highly doubtful that any 3rd party can verify that as real.

Thank you very much for the reply, Pete. I figured that was all the case, but just wanted to confirm. I knew for certain that the Lawrence was bad, but didn't feel good about the others, either. Thanks again!
