Sorry if I am doing this wrong - my first post...

Does anyone have any opinions as to the authenticity of the items auctioned off by this eBay seller?

http://www.ebay.com/usr/hollywoodhaven

It is a steady stream of vintage Entertainment signed items, which makes me wonder how it can keep going for so long...A dealer would go out and buy collections, then split them up, but to have a continuous influx of so many vintage items makes me wonder.

To compound my concern, I have been quite weary about dealers selling out Vegas (as well as Arizona and Florida).

Pricing is at the lower end of an item's value, at an auction starting point low enough to entice an initial bid. It is very carefully done.

As far as authenticity, most of the graphs look close enough, yet others exhibit a thing or two that raise my concerns (e.g. shape, speed or size - like this larger than usual Glenn Close: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Glenn-Close-SIGNED-8x10-Photo-Dangerous-Lia...).

He also seems to not be scrutinizing too closely what he is acquiring/reselling, like:

- an Orlando Bloom preprint/autopen being auctioned starting at $42: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Orlando-Bloom-SIGNED-8-x-10-Photo-Lord-of-t... - or

- a Paul Newman that seems off even from his secretarials: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Paul-Newman-SIGNED-1979-Photo-Movie-Star-Ha... - or

- a dual Heston/Davis that has Heston off even his "Challton" secretarials and a Davis that's a head scratcher (position, angle, speed): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bette-Davis-Charlton-Heston-SIGNED-8x10-Pho...

Could it be the case of some bad with the chance of some diamonds in the rough...or could there be more to this than meets the eye?

Any opinions?

Thanks in advance!
