I saw that one too.  Looks okay to me.  Probably not my favorite example though.

How about this one?  Ive seen these rushed Bono's before on the U2 web link autograph site. Its a quick short version of his signature when in a crowd.  Supposedly obtained at the 92nd St Y in NYC.

Yeah, it looks like the rushed version - you'll see plenty over these on Ebay.  And while many are authentic from in-person collectors, they are usually pretty badly overpriced for being poor to mediocre examples.  Personally, I'm not that big a fan of these since they're inherently somewhat tougher to authenticate.  My advice would be only to purchase if you're confident in the source and get a fantastic price.

Hello Steve!

If you're not thinking of buying the signed Joshua Tree album, do you mind telling me where to find this? But if you're considering buying this I totally understand if you want to keep this for yourself and avoid the competition... :-)

Hi Don & Rich - No it is mine.  Like I stated, a friend of mine said he got it at the 92nd St Y and I traded him some stuff for it in 2011.  For now, I will keep it.   Thanks for responding.

Sorry, I must have mixed them up. I thought it were The Unforgettable Fire who were signed on 92nd St Y in NYC and not Joshua Tree... :-)

Yes you are correct.  Sorry I musunderstood you.  'Fire' was signed at the Y.  I do not own the Joshua Tree LP.

Sometimes my crappy english is hard to understand... :-)

Then my original question still stands, IF you're not interested in Joshua Tree, do you mind telling me where to find this?

But, as I said, if interested I understand if you want to avoid a "biddingwar" and keep this for yourself... :-)

Thanks, appreciate your help!!

I thought this was amusing - I saw it on ebay the other day.  I'd buy it if the price was lower.

The signature is excellent - this is the type of full, classic Bono autograph I'd typically recommend wholeheartedly.  But it's on such a bizarre item that it's hard to be excited about the price ($200).

Very nice sig.
