I had my Jersey signed last week with a fine black Deco paint pen. For whatever reason the ink bled into the number a bit. I did use the same pen two months before this getting a Jersey signed by Dr J. That one came out perfect so should I have just gotten a new pen? I prepped it quite a bit and when I tested it the pen worked fine. Or could it just be that some signers press too hard causing the bleeding? By the way both of my Jerseys are China Jerseys so do I need to somehow seal the fabric to prevent this again?
