Hey Everyone! I recently acquired  a  signed Farmers Ledger Book (kinda like a little diary for farmers to keep track of diff info) Its dated 1955. Its slightly measures 2 inches by 3 inches closed. The back of the book in the Memorandum pages it has been signed by several country artists of the time period. Such as Patsy Cline, Tex Ritter, Texas Jim Robertson, Long John Martin, and 2 others that I cant make out and neither could JSA. Those 3 were ruled Genuine Signatures from JSA. I had it examined at an in person JSA Event, When asked for their free appraisal service they offer to see what it was worth, The JSA Employee said that Patsy Cline is so rare, he hasn't ever seen one sell and to be honest couldn't give a fair appraisal. But he said that he thought it would be worth more as a "cut" autograph rather than keeping it in the ledger book. My thought is wouldn't keeping the book all intact add the provenance of the signature? My luck I would try cutting it out or removing it and end up tearing it! lol not really funny but I could see that happening to me. I have a reproduction Patsy Cline tour poster I plan to get it professionally framed/matted with to make it a museum quality piece. But should I cut it out and then frame it? Leave it in the book and have the book framed open to the pages of Patsy Cline and Tex Ritter, or have it matted so that only the Patsy Cline signature is visible with the rest of the book covered under the matting materials? I value all of your opinions and I look forward to hearing from you all. I have over 400 country music signatures and this is one of the highlights of my collection, would like to add Hank Williams Sr Someday! Thanks Everyone!
