My friend, Joe Baiardi with the Houston Fab 5 emailed me:

Joe: I would have to see a pic of the forged one they are talking about. I am an expert at their signatures………..

AndyNTexas: They are saying John did not sign with a cartoon of himself until 1971. See atached White Album

Joe: This cannot be the one that belonged to you as those are their signatures from the 70s and not 60s. They signed differently. The one you had must be in someone’s collection.

AndyNTexas: What do you mean when you say they signed signatures differently?

Joe: Their complete signature style changed in the 70s as far as the way all 4 signed their names.

AndyNTexas: I remember John told my mom that it took him several weeks to get all four signatures as they were all traveling about. So it did not happen in one sitting.

Joe: That is correct in 67/68.

And while engineering is an exact science I am human and prone to errors. Joe's house is a Beatle museum. So I eat humble pie and must be wrong on this one. But I saw the cartoon!
