Is this Hank Aaron, autograph real??? I purchased this baseball from a guy off ebay who said he bought it off of QVC back in the mid 90's, it's on a Rawlings Official National Ball.

this one looks very similar to one currently on ebay that has a PSA cert.

So in your opinion you feel it is real then?

Paul, its really hard to say. I am familiar with Aaron's 70's style and his current style. there are a lot of ones like this on ebay that appear to be a transitional signature from the 90's probably.  they are very hard for me to authenticate.  Your ball is very close to many of the one's authenticated by PSA, so I would have to trust their judgement on this. however there are two things that concern me about your ball, Aaron almost always closes the "O" in his last name, and there is normally a separation between the "A"s in Aaron.  But again, it could be real.

Thank you so much for your feedback terrier8HOF, I really do appreciate it alot.

Im not really a baseball guy. I used to own an Aaron bought psa certed, and i dont remember it looking like this. Especially the H. But i could def. be wrong. Terrier would know much better than me. Not that it means anything, but ive heard some bad things about balls bought off qvc, granted though i think that was with mickey mantle. And if you got it off the same guy as the Mays ball, that may be a clue.

I do hope its real for you though, and im nowhere near an expert.

Good luck

Carl

Thanks Carl, I got it from a different person than the Willie Mays ball.
