Long story short, I am a new collector, and I picked up this Hank Aaron ball up from a third party. It is authenticated by Stadium Authentics, but I have my doubts about whether it is real. Supposedly signed in 2004. What do you all think?

Edit: I looked again at the certificate of authenticity. I misspoke about 2010. The ball is allegedly from 2004.

interesting.  His signatures over the last few years have been large and shaky so I doubt it was signed in 2010. other than that it looks good to me. what type of ball is it on?

It is on a Selig OMLB.

The key to Aaron is the baseline, which this one has in my opinion; I have one signed in 09/10, and it is VERY shaky as terrier is saying, so I would guess this one is from the 90s?  If so, it's nice to see it on a nice white baseball.  Great piece!

The Stadium Authentics hologram says it was signed in 2004. What do you mean the baseline is key? Sorry, I'm new at this.

Not a problem, I'm not a professional either, but I'm well versed with Aaron's sig.  Hank Aaron has an atypical baseline to his sig (a significant characteristic).  I'll send you an inbox message of what I mean, because you never know if forgers are snooping around this site.

Yeah, I cannot believe I read it as 2010. So embarrassed.

Stadium Authentics sells fake autographs all over Amazon under various seller names like autograph showcase and sunset beach. They ripped me off for over $2k in autographed merchandise and then threatened me in person to remove the feedback and never gave me a refund. Stadium Authentics is probably the largest supplier of fake autographs in the country. Autograph shoppers please be careful as they are selling at hobby shops across the country as well. STADIUM AUTHENTICS COA = FAKE AUTOGRAPH.
