its a shortened version of jimmie.  it looks off.  Foxx looks off to.  but I`m not sure Darin.  I have a few examples of Foxx and none look like this.  The J is quite small compared to other jimmies.  could be good could be bad.  IDK for sure.

I have one example of the shortened jimi version and the J is really small compared to the example I have.  I will post it here in a little while.

Darin here is an example from psa autograph facts.  here is the link.  It could be a good one.

Thanks Erich

here are two examples from a book I purchased.

This is from a current Ebay auction and is a JSA encapsulated item.  Why is this being questioned?

Do you trust JSA 100%.  I don't see anything wrong with making sure an item that you are interested in is good.  That is my guess to why he made this thread.

I saw that this was encapsulated too.

I do trust JSA, most of my Baseball collection is JSA, but before I drop a lot of money, I want to make sure, because I haven't a seen a Jimmie Foxx like this one. Thanks Erich,  appreciate the help bro

I have never seen one like this.

I also trust JSA and PSA, but like any other company, they are made up of humans and humans do make mistakes.  I usually go to Heritage Auctions to do research as you always get a large volume of authenticated specimens to looks at.  This style of signature is seen in authenticated cuts as well as signed balls.
