Is this Mantle baseball sig real? Helping a friend w/ cancer raise money. neep help

Ok so my friend gave me this huge box of old cards and stuff I told him I would go through for him because he has a friend who is dealing with some huge medical bills and he was going to buy everything from him that was real but he wasn't sure about the Mantle ball because of the reason most novist collectors are (there are a lot of fakes) It looks real to me and there is a Scoreboard cert with it but I know you guys won't BS me on its authenticity. There were like 5 other balls who were probably Braves players that were ruined and I Cant make out names and the one that would be able to read I can't tell who it is. Well here is a pic of the ball and the cert. I would really appreciate you guys help and if it's real awesome if not it's no big deal.

This is the only Jeter auto I have, I'd like to own a ball but you're right, with him  retiring his sig is gonna go through the roof. I love Jeter but the fact that I can get some legendary players auto's for much cheeper is a bit strange (I mean Jeter is a legend in my book but you know what I mean) Here is the Jeter I do have.

It's from 2009 Upper Deck Signature Stars (I have a Chipper Jones just like it)

I like card

thanks, I liked it too. I got it several years ago. I have an allen & ginter cabinet card detailing his 3000th hit and it has both he and David Price on there. It would be awesome to one day maybe at a signing if they ever did it after their playing days to get it signed by both. It would be a neat peice.
