I wanted opinions regarding this Reagan signature.  I know there are a lot of fakes and auto pens out there.  I think the signature looks like his but my concerns are the ink is in a different color/pen as Nancy and it is shaky.

Hi Tyler,

Is this the same as the one you have been offered via ebay?

Hey Mark,

Yes, as a matter of fact it is.  I realize it is PSA slabbed but I certainly am cautious since his signature is a difficult one to authenticate.

Hi Tyler,

I concur with your sentiment.

The big issue for me is the size and way the 'R' is done in Ronald. Very unusual and more akin to a secratary. Same goes for the 'a' in Ronald. I also don't like the angle of the 'R' in Reagan.

The L & D are about the same height which is good and consistent with known examples as is the 'g' in Reagan.

As with any hand-signed signature there are always going to be differences. I don't think this is a autopen.

I am still on the fence with this particular cut out. I think this is a secratary hand rather than by the man himself. I could of course be totally wrong as I am not an expert. Perhaps wait for some others to respond with an opinion or two.

I agree.  The signature is also shaky, which I haven’t been able to find another one like that.  Maybe it was just signed in his later years.  I’m certainly not an expert with his signature either.
