Thanks for the advise. I don't want to spend any more online though to be told it's fake. I already tried two websites and i think that's enough. I think the seller genuinely believes it's real which doesn't change the fact i've spent all my money on a fake i can't present as a gift now. So disappointing.

A clear fake. The signatures with an M are all the same and by the same hand as are most C's and S's. Maybe try dropping Michael Frost a line on his profile here and see if he can help with an opinion as he is an authenticator.

To michelle marshall I just saw your comment. Thank you for your advice. It is stressful yes, i shouldn't have jumped into something i know nothing about but i certainly won't leave it now. Until earlier today i was still hoping it might be genuine but after all opinions on here and by phone and few places i took it to i'll find someone at the end to put it down in writing for me. And i won't threaten the seller whatsoever but i will take it to the police and the small claims court 100%

Hi Viva , I steered you here from republic of Mancunia (Manchester United fan site) and am very pleased with the fellow members here who have helped you. I had to work all day and couldnt get on.Thank you all and thats why this is THE site for autograph collectors! Anyway looks same signed to me also and not authentic. Good luck and follow up with seller that you dont want it and want to return it.Be pushy! Im a Yank but football is my favorite game. And thanks again to members, you guys are the best.

Thank you indeed Ian. I didn't know who it was to mention you. I am so upset with the outcome and i certainly won't leave it. The worst thing is i am left with no present for the birthday but it's my fault for not checking first. I will definitely be looking into contacting all authorities necessary if the seller refuses to accept a refund. Thank you again! Best advise ever

And you are so welcome. For authentic signed jerseys but they are mostly single players Rooney,Messi,Ronaldo,Giggs you can check Icons website. They have signings with these guys. And of course the person should be understanding with what has happened or they should hit the road! And holy mackeral you should get to bed!

Viva, sorry for your birthday gift. There are two places I would look for genuine Man U items. Try Jason Thanos who is a member here and lives in Manchester or you could try www.a1sportingmemorabilia.co.uk/ 

A1 does a lot of private signings. Good luck from Sweden

Why? You're up! If i've known all that i wouldn't have gone near e bay. I just hope for this person to be a understanding human being and let me have the money back so i can buy something else. If no we'll be still dragging into court next month or so. Now i know of your site if i ever feel brave enough to look into all this, i'll consider your opinions first.

People here are all about identifying authentic autographs and like to help so please feel free. I think it was like 3 in the morning your time. Im in the states, for me it was 10ish. But I wish you luck and hope all turns out well.

Cool,did you get it signed yourself?if so how where the players. United is my favorite sports team though I am a scottish born 100 percent yank having moved here at a young age (7). I have a team signed jersey hanging in my closet.
