Richard : Thanks for commenting.  That sucks, the seller told me it was signed in a private signing in Beverly Hills CA.  What makes you think it's not real.

Nicholas I don't think it's genuine either, have you ever heard of JP doing a private signing? I sure havent but I could be wrong, however it's difficult to see the signature clearly on your photo but the angle/slant of the signature looks wrong,look at the example I've posted of a JP autograph on here... hope this helps. Matt

Matt : Thank you for commenting, I'm upset and going to complain to the seller and ebay.  I have a few Jimmy Page signitures on paper, I will post them.

Matt :  I contacted the seller and told him, he answered me that in so many words that this forum is not qualified to answer the authenticity of autographs.  Further, he said : Are these people experts on signitures and more.  I don't know.  IT sucks that in this field there is a window for so much fraud.  I thank you for your comment, Matt

Gio : Not all Jimmy Page's autographs travel downwards!!!  I have just spoke to a seller who has told me he saw Jimmy Page sign a Houses of the Holy album,.  I examined it and it does not travel downward!!!

There's a seller on eBay who's been selling tens of thousands of dollars worth of these horrible Zeppelin (and other) forgeries for at least a year now.

One would think even the poorest forger would eventually get just a little better, but this one sure doesn't. The fact that these are so horrible and still keep getting sold, has actually made me suspect some sort of money laundering scheme.

I'm shocked that there are people that actual fall for the hologram and "private signing" baloney.

Michael : There is no way you could state for certain that the celebrity in question never signed at a private signing.  I have autographs with COA's from PSA DNA and JSA Spence and they are authentic.

Not everybody's signature is identical.
