Stamp it? What is up with that? Why wont he sign? Also what if he is gonna sign and they put that to deter some people away? Hmmm time will tell.

I'm not attending unless I have priority seating.

Just plain stupid.  If you're not going to sign, then don't.  Don't insult your fans.

Exactly. It's a slap in the face honestly. Why even show up? I'm sure if he's only stamping, then posing for photos or making eye contact with Jimmy is prohibited.

I think he feels that if he signs the book people will put it on eBay and sell it for a big profit. I do not agree with him stamping it though.

Ridiculous.  I hope no one shows.

Waste of time!
Imagine trying to resell this in 20 years. Hi I have this book that was stamped by jimmy page. The pawn guy says hmmmm If this was actually signed it would have a lot more value. The problem is its stamped not signed. To me this wouldn,t be for the autograph collector. It would be for personal enjoyment of whoever obtained it.

Absolutely ridiculous. I was planning to go but aint no way now. Neil Young is supposed to be doing a signing up there also. Oh well Peter Yarrow is signing and singing at a little book store a half mile from my house in Doylestown PA. He signs for the children first and the adults have to wait. I always love hearing Puff the magic dragon.

Page is such a tool.

Yeah, if you won't sign, then do photo ops instead.  Fans would be thrilled with that and no one's going to cash in.  Everyone wins.  Instead, he wants to be a pompous ass.

In my opinions, Page is basically the new Ringo now. And what i mean is that they both are intentionally making there autographs scarce, and only signing with deals that come through there official websites.  And there are many doing this as well. Would i do it to my fans? No, but Page has signed alot in his career, so thats probably how he justifies it. From what ive heard, Page is near impossible now to get. I think the pros like Roger, Jason Thanos, and some of the more elite guys have gotten him just by being extremely relentless in the chase, but apart form that, i dont think anyone gets him. And yet every now and then signed items pop up on his official site, are priced at a premium, and sell out almost instantly. Same with Ringo from what ive heard. No sigs anywhere, except through the occasional items from his official website. I really am surprised David Gilmour hasnt gone this route. But i have not seen him offer such a promotion. He just doesnt seem to like to sign, period.
