This is real. Not the best example of his signature since it's on a baseball, but it is real.

If I remember correctly, this was signed at his hotel in Washington, DC after the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012. I remember reading about it or seeing it somewhere at the time. It wasn't signed at a baseball game.
