take a look at this interesting baseball. the cert almost makes it worth looking at the listing:

Further, the seller indicates the ball has been kept in a "smoke free house since its purchase in the early 90's".

Budig became AL president in 1994, and the balls were not generally used until the 95 season. Mantle died in August of 1995, and I doubt he was doing much traveling or shows in the last year of his life.

If this ball were authentic it would be valued at much higher than the buy it now price.

don't like the last m in mantle at all. If you zoom in you can see ink pooling at the first m and the k as well. Plus, that coa is.filled with so much fluff to get you too say "oh they knew mantle" so you'd buy it in my opinion.And the coa was made after his death so what did the person do? Clearly the coa couldn't have been given out at the time of the signing since mantle would've been alive. Very fishy In my opinion.
