Joe Dimaggio Signed $100 Bill- Real?

Owner said Joe DiMaggio signed this for his wife at Waldorf Astoria 9/8/1995. Joe's personal assistant pulled her aside and said he was shocked Joe signed for her. he did not sign in public.

Any chance it is real?
