It is very faded, definitely "2"ish in strength, or "a solid 7" if you're Heritage Auctions :P

what type of ball is it on? i have bought signed balls like this, but they would have been vintage signatures on official balls, ie 1961 Roger Maris on Cronin ball.

It's not an official ball, if I remember correctly it's a Carolina minor league ball or something.
